Details on Wii U Versions of FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13 Emerge
EA Sports unveiled details on both FIFA 13 and Madden NFL 13 for the Wii U at a press event today.
Some of the unique features of the Wii U version of FIFA 13 include the ability to manage your team using the GamePad touch screen to change tactics, formation and subs on the fly and aiming the ball on set pieces/penalty kicks.
Madden NFL 13 utilizes the Wii U touch screen to streamline playcalling, pre-snap adjustments and personnel management. The Wii U version will also include the new Connected Careers mode and new commentary team of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz.
It’s apparent that both games have taken a step back visually from the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. Check out a few screenshots here and here to compare.
As mentioned yesterday, NBA Live 13 was reportedly scheduled to make an appearance at the event, but EA decided to pull the game at the last minute.
